MIM Solutions is a company originated in University of Warsaw (UW) Algorithms Group, directed by prof. Piotr Sankowski. The company gathered experts interested in solving practical algorithmic problems efficiently, which finally evolved towards machine learning. Although the MIM Solutions is a company which is not a part of UW, these two entities are still in tight cooperation.
MIM Solutions specializes in hard tasks. We are proficient in providing effective solutions, especially when standard methods have failed. However, for the most common problems we specialize in, we offer a set of generic services ready to deploy on any environment in no time (see Solutions).
MIM Solutions offers variety of machine learning solutions. Particularly, we specialize in:
We design recommendation systems, especially optimized for your customers. Deploying our solution will guarantee conversion of your visitors into buyers.
Do not concentrate on dubious customers. Precisely predict behaviour of your customer and optimize your business to increase profits.
Do not waste your time on riddles and puzzles. Our academic background will accurately ensure, that you will be provided with the best known solutions.
MIM Solutions developed a tool for automatic semantic analysis of legal contracts for Pergamin - the Warsaw start-up specializing in virtual contracts. We assisted in creation of legal contract templates - using just a small number of contracts obtained from a given client (company) - thus streamlining the contract preparation in the given company. The tool accepts text as well as pdf and image formats as input and performs semantic analysis, i.e. Named Entity Recognition or semantic segmentation using state of the art Few Shot Learning and Transfer Learning for NLP (Natural Language Processing).
MIM Solutions creates an adaptive ML system to solve one of the key problems regarding air traffic and its disruptions. The system based on online flight data for predicting and scoring flights foresees possible flight disruptions, classifies their reasons after the occurrence, estimates the claim value related to disrupted flights and proposes the optimal procedures for handling it. The project is being implemented in cooperation with GIVT AG and will help scale operations that should enable expansion on the entire European market.
MIM Solutions automatically categorizes the advertisements for Gemius S.A. Our machine learning tool analyzes pictures, text and metadata of the advertisement to assign the brand and category of the advertised product. This massive multi-class classification consists of tens of thousands of possible brands and categories. It is a great machine learning challenge which requires the use of the whole spectrum of techniques from NLP to image processing. We have presented our solution during PyData Warsaw 2018 conference.
MIM Solutions created a Machine Learning System supporting short-term prediction of crime and offenses, suggesting to the Polish Police Officers the place and time of a possible event. The system needs a very small amount of data to make forecasts, and thus the speed and flexibility of implementation in various places. Our model uses a spatial-temporal regression model based on the XGBoost library. It predicts the probability of the next event based on previously observed events in this area. The prediction system is currently being tested successfully by the Polish Police in Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia.
MIM Solutions prepared the behavioral segmentation of users for Showroom.pl and Showroom.de. The segmentation delivered by our algorithms was easily recognized by Showroom marketing team, i.e., the segments correspond to well-named client groups. Next, we combined the segmentation with our recommendation service. This allowed Showroom to personalize all marketing actions from newsletters to social media campaigns.
MIM Solutions developed cutting-edge user behaviour model that after 3 days of integration increased turnover by 14.2% (keeping the same gross margin percentage and decreased the required amount of resources needed). Cooperation has contributed to exponential growth of RTB House company and global success in on-line advertisement market!Bartłomiej Romański CTO
Adam Witkowski, Data Scientist and programmer from MIM Solution will take part in the upcoming Data Science Summit 2020 starting on the 16th of October. He will present a case study on personalizing ads using psychology. The presentation will describe the project that combines psychological research about personality traits (The Big Five) with machine learning to improve ad targeting. Data Science Summit is the largest, independent data science conference in the CEE Region. The Conference and Expo will be held fully online and they will be accompanied by the networking events happening stationary in Warsaw.
MIM Solutions became a part of the Polish Tech Bridges Programme organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The Agency implements pro-export projects dedicated to the expansion of innovative Small and Medium-Sized enterprises by actively working with the leading Polish sectors, regarding foreign expansion and offering support to Polish companies wishing to develop in new markets. In the framework of the Polish Tech Bridges, MIM Solution will have a chance to launch its products to the United Arab Emirates. We are proud to have a chance of entering one of the most exciting markets in the world.
MIM Solutions started cooperation with Enzode - Polish e-commerce and Big Data software house. We are building reinforcement learning algorithms for predicting the best personalized advertising path for a given user. We employ state of the art machine learning algorithms to achieve the best possible user experience and optimize e-commerce marketing campaigns.
Our experts work together with Spicy Mobile on creating an innovative programmatic advertising platform. The tool will automatically adapt the advertising message to the user's personality traits based on machine learning technology. The main goal is to limit the number of ads broadcasted in mobile applications by improving their quality. Our experts are responsible for creating algorithms that will allow the software to automate the process of data analysis and detect dependencies between variables, so that each time it can be tailored to the user's personality profile. The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development.
On June 30th, Piotr Sankowski, CEO of MIM Solutions took part in a 5th Health Challenges Congress. He talked about the perspectives and development of artificial intelligence in medicine. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic this year's edition of the congress took place online.
